Feeling

Vision of Experience

Which feelings do we aim to trigger? Is there an emotional component to the value we offer?

Vision of Experience: Persona β€’ Context β€’ Pain β€’ Gain β€’ Value Proposition β€’ Feeling

Purpose

So, you offer value to your customers? Great! But how does that make them feel? A great user or customer experience is more about feeling than about value, and they're not the same thing.

For example, the value of Netflix is clear: they offer thousands of films and TV series instantly available via a streaming app. But the feeling they strive for is relaxation. And that means they compete with more than just other video streaming services.

Notes

Value is not the same as feeling. The feeling is an emotional response to the value a customer gets (or doesn’t get).
